22SCT 2WD Race Truck Kit by Team Losi Racing

The 1/10-scale 22SCT Short Course Truck Kit is the first short course offering from Team Losi Racing and is based on the ROAR National Champion 22 buggy. The 22SCT will be the most innovative, durable and competitive short course truck ever engineered since it is based on the 22 platform and designed from the ground up to be a dominating competitor.

Nothing beats experience. Especially when it comes to engineering a performance-driven race machine like the 22™ SCT. To create it, TLR engineers used all the knowledge and experience they gained from making the revolutionary 1/10-scale 22 buggy. They built on the championship-winning 22 platform and took it to the nextlevel. And now the 22 SCT is the most innovative, durable and competitive short course truck ever designed.

Designed to be a champion the 22SCT barrows the majority of the innovative features that make the 22 platform a contender. Right from the start the ability to choose either mid or rear motor completion. This will allow for SCT drivers to tune the ride they want depending on the track style and surface they are racing on. This will give the 22SCT a more global appeal for those individual currently running a mid-motor set-up as the driving characteristics are similar. Other key features include a 7075-T6 aluminum chassis, full ball bearing equipped, Heavy Duty 4mm turnbuckles, optimized motor and transmission placement, two full sets of wheels (8 wheels total), dish inserts for the wheels and all metric hardware for ease of maintenance.

Like Greg, my first hobby grade vehicle was a Tamiya Falcon; I began racing an RC10 shortly thereafter and have been hooked ever since. My garage of vehicles includes everything from a Losi 5ive-T and HPI Super 5SC Flux, to a Losi Micro T and almost everything in between including boats. I also help out at R/C Madness (my home away from home) in Enfield, CT, in my spare time. While I don’t race all that often anymore my Nephew, Doc, is starting to race my fleet of vehicles.
