Cool Chassis Protector for my Helion Dominus by G4-Graphics

Helion has quickly become a major force in the radio controlled industry in a short period of time.  Their Dominus 10SC truck, for example, is a steal being a 4wd rtr truck and costing just $199.  My personal Dominus has been run on carpet for the most part and with out door dirt racing picking up I wanted to do something to protect the bottom of the chassis.  My pal, Justin from G4-Graphics decided to help me out and made a thick chassis protector for me featuring the RC Driver logo and a few others!  Check it out!  I really like the carbon fiber look too!

Like Greg, my first hobby grade vehicle was a Tamiya Falcon; I began racing an RC10 shortly thereafter and have been hooked ever since. My garage of vehicles includes everything from a Losi 5ive-T and HPI Super 5SC Flux, to a Losi Micro T and almost everything in between including boats. I also help out at R/C Madness (my home away from home) in Enfield, CT, in my spare time. While I don’t race all that often anymore my Nephew, Doc, is starting to race my fleet of vehicles.

  1. Dean,

I just ran my dominus up at rc madness for the first time 2 weeks ago. I live about an hour away and brought my 4 year old son with me. We got there a little late but were able to get in a few good practice laps on the indoor track. I am currently running the castle sct system in mine and have put my losi shocks on the rear. Helion is now listing all of their upgrade parts on the website and I placed an order at my local hobby town (New Milford, CT) for a few.

Your articles have been a big help and maybe one day I’ll run into you at the track!

    Keep up the great work!

    • Hey Byron,
Glad the articles were a help to you. I’ll be getting the new items from Helion very soon and will let you all know how they are.

      Thanks-
      Dean
