Panther Tires win at the 2012 Jconcepts Summer Indoor Nats

Hosted once again the Outback Raceway in Chico, Ca. Racers from all over the region as well as from neighboring states would converge to attend this well hosted event. 250 entries would make this the largest event to date hosted at the Outback raceway also know as A Main Hobbies. The track was in being ran damp this year making tire choice very important. A tricky off camber section and point and shoot triple section required a good balance of side and forward bite.

B-Millers Terry Whickum was dialed all weekend running Panther Clay Bobcats fronts along with Rattler 2.0 in clay compound mounted to DE Racing wheels on his B4.1 in stock buggy. Terry was able to take the overall Tq and simply run away with the main with a 12 second gap over 2nd place. Fellow B-Miller teammate Josh O’Connell put in a late race charge taking 2nd place running the same tire setup.

Panther Tires Brian Strange was busy all weekend. Brian put everyone one of his cars into the A main rolling on Panther Tires. Brian was using Clay Bobcat fronts and Rattler 2.0 clays in rear for 2wd buggy and 4wd buggy. For ST Truck Brian was using Clay Switch 2.0?s and custom Rattler ST tires made by team manager Randy Pike in the rear also in clay compound.

One of the largest classes of the weekend was the 4wd Sc Class. Panther tires were used by the B-Miller racing team taking 3 spots on the grid. Drivers were torn between the  Clay Switch 2.0 or the clay Rattler SC tires but all felt either tire was fast.
