Pro Servo Tape Props

There are a few support items in the hobby, that I just have to have. One thing and its very specific is Parma Pro Servo tape. I have absolutely no problem going on record saying this is the best servo tape I’ve used. This “super stick” silicone adhesive tape has held in large ESC’s like the Castle Mamba Monster and the Tekin RX8 without issue. Just try and pull the ESC off the chassis and you’ll burst a blood vessel in your head trying. However when you need to remove the electronic component, you give it a firm twist and it pops off. But what is even better is you then peel up a corner of the tape and it will pull right off without leaving chunks of tape, foam like other tapes or adhesive behind. This stuff is that good!

RC Driver Magazine Editor-in-Chief: My radio control hobby started in 1985 with a Tamiya Falcon. The first time I drove the buggy I finished 3rd in the A-Main out of forty-eight drivers; needless to say I was hooked. From then on I competed in a lot of races in many different segments. At sixteen I started my first job at a Hobbytown USA and at seventeen started as a contributing writer for an RC publication. A few years later, I started full-time as a magazine editor while attending college for graphic design. Little did I know down the road I'd be offered a chance to start up a new RC magazine. I jumped at the opportunity and with a talented group of professionals launched RC Driver Magazine. Throughout the years I never lost my passion for RC and spreading the word about this wonderful hobby. I hope you enjoy our magazine and website!

  1. I also am a fan of the parma tape my only complaint is sometimes you stick it to say your esc and go to peel the backing off to stick it to the chassis. Well if you dont let it cure to the esc for about 5 minutes before attempting to peel the backing you may end up peeling the tape off the esc. So now im trying loctite outdoor adhesive which is clear and very easy to apply. Also ive heard great things about the grey 3m outdoor adhesive. Just thought id share.
