Video – Short Course Domination for MIP and Matt Olson

It was total domination for the MIP Factory Race Team at JConcepts Indoor Summer Nationals at A-Main Hobbies’ Outback Raceway in Chico, CA this past weekend with MIP/Matt Olson’s Perfect Score in the Pro 4 Class running his Losi-SCTe equipped with the MIP Pro4mance Chassis & Tuning Package! MIP/Olson earned the TQ and the Victory when, as JConcepts reports*, “the most crushing win of the weekend, however, came in the Pro 4 Open Short Course class at the hands of Matthew Olson, who was the class of the field in qualifying and smashed the competition by winning the A Main with a one-lap cushion!”

Since it’s introduction, this Pro 4 win marks the third major race this summer won by MIP/Matt Olson with the MIP Pro4mance Chassis and Tuning Package, that includes the MIP Bypass1 Kit. RCInsider.com reports, “Last month our cameras caught up with MIP’s Eustace Moore at the Top Gun Shootout at SDRC Raceway in San Diego, CA. Eustace gave us a look at their new MIP Pro-4-Mance Pack for the Losi Ten-SCTE that was released in the middle of June… Since its debut it has won the 2012 Top Gun Shootout, the 5th Rnd of the JBRL Electric Series, and this weekend it has been running strong at the JConcepts Summer Indoor Nationals with 16 lap run and TQ for Rnd #3 by Matt Olson…”

The MIP Factory Team also dominated the Pro 2 Class – each and every qualifying heat was won by either MIP/Matt Olson (7 of 8) or MIP/Eustace Moore (1 of 8)! MIP/Eustace, running the Kyosho Ultima SC-R SP equipped with the just introduced new MIP Bypass1 Kit for Kyosho and prototypes of the upcoming MIP C-CVDs for Kyosho  won the key qualifying round, the B-Main, and, bumping his way to the A-Main, a respectable 6th fastest overall finish!

It was MIP/Olson, running the Team Associated SC10 equipped with MIP C-CVD Kit, MIP Ball Diff Kit , MIP Aluminum Top Shaft/Gear  and MIP Bypass1 Kit who TQd and ultimately won the Pro 2 Stock Expert A-Main by nearly a full lap!

Trackside, after the podium pics, Matt expressed, “I thank all my supporters, especially Eustace and Brandon for the design, and for giving me the opportunity to take home the win!’ Eustace smiled, “We’re back! What you see is the result of the dedication and talent of the entire MIP engineering team and staff. We are serious about our racing and we will continue to make the products that make the difference.”

*Note: MIP/Olson’s win was not with a prototype…the MIP Pro4mance Package for the Losi SCTe, began shipping June 2012 to distributors worldwide and is available at your local hobby shop, online, and, as JConcepts reports, even trackside this weekend at A-Main Hobbies. “Eustace Moore and Matt Olson from MIP arrived today and got in some track time with their new Pro-4 performance kit. I witnessed a customer purchase the kit from A Main and then Eustace and Matt helped him every step of the way to get it built. This is the kind of help you can expect to see at these Indoor Nationals Events and why I enjoy them so much.”
