So lunch time rolled around and I was starving, I think a break was in order for a burger. Then I was bombarded with work work, so now I’m trying to get as much done on this build before the weekend.
The SCT specific axles need to be assembled and slipped into the hubs. The truck uses the same larger outside bearing to support the axle. There’s no flat spot on the CV pin for the set-screw to grab on so make sure you use a good amount of thread lock to prevent the assembly from falling apart.

Ti-nitride pins slip into the rear arms and steel ball-type pivots slide over them before they are installed in the aluminum pivot blocks.

The tie rods were back! And now my fingers really hurt! But they are installed and the rear tower has been bolted onto the rear bulkhead assembly. This truck can be built rear or mid motor like the other 22′s and I’m trying the rear motor configuration first.
