Update – Brushless 5ive-T with the RC Madness BL5 Conversion

I decided to add a few more items to my soon to be ELECTRIC Lois 5ive-T today.  First up was the orange anodized rear skid plate from Xtreme Racing.  Installing it is a snap.  Simply flip the big truck over, remove the four screws that hold the back end in place, line up the new skid plate and re install the four screws.

With the truck flipped over I also installed a front skid plate made by FullForceRC.  This skid plate is made of polished aluminum and the underside is milled out to help reduce weight.  In addition it comes with longer screws to make sure everything is securely held in place.

Keep checking back as I keep updating my progress right here…

Like Greg, my first hobby grade vehicle was a Tamiya Falcon; I began racing an RC10 shortly thereafter and have been hooked ever since. My garage of vehicles includes everything from a Losi 5ive-T and HPI Super 5SC Flux, to a Losi Micro T and almost everything in between including boats. I also help out at R/C Madness (my home away from home) in Enfield, CT, in my spare time. While I don’t race all that often anymore my Nephew, Doc, is starting to race my fleet of vehicles.
