What could be more important to an RC racer than their RC itself? Well, probably not much… but, coming in at a close second place is certainly our local track we have the pleasure of calling “home.” Whether this is a simple track torn into our backyard or the local track carefully planned and taken care of, they serve a very important aspect in fulfilling a RC racer’s passion: a place to practice and have fun. Every Tuesday here at RC Driver we’ll be featuring a local track known as home to its local RC Racers and RC enthusiasts. Ever wonder what other tracks out of town are like? Or ever want your home track to be seen and known by other RC racers? Then make sure to read the latest Track Tuesdays feature and your local home track might be the next up!
Coral Springs RC Track
10500 NW 11th Mnr
Coral Springs, Florida
With winter lingering heavily over our heads for many of us, this week for Track Tuesdays, we’ll be combating the cold weather worries with a warm South Florida track. Only half an hour outside of Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs RC track is a R.O.A.R. sanctioned track with an off-road track as well as a dirt oval. Coral Springs is open to members only to practice, race, and turn marshal at the track, but don’t let the membership discourage you because this RC track is definitely worth it! Coral Springs is usually open every Saturday for either practice, races, or events depending on the weather, and is also open every Sunday for Off-Road club races. This Southern Florida RC track is well organized, well layed out, and most importantly offers many events and races for racers looking to fulfill their RC racing needs. If you’re in the Southern Florida area and looking for a local track to call your new home, we recommend checking out Coral Spings to combine great sunny weather with great racing action.
