What used to be one of the most iconic gas-powered giant scale RC trucks is now fully electric, running up to 12S power and pushing over 55 pounds of desert truck insanity. In this video I break down all the major changes, compare it to the previous generation, speed test it on 8S and 12S, then head to the Sandlot and RC Madness to send this massive beast flying. I honestly wasn’t sure how I’d feel about an electric 5T after driving and racing the originals years ago, but after a full day behind the wheel, this thing completely won me over with huge power, serious air, and surprisingly balanced handling. And yes… we crashed it hard.
