I’m in the process of converting a Slash 4×4 to a stampede truggy thanks to this article. I will be using a Tekin pro4 4000kv motor with a Gen1 RX8. It will also have the Pro-Line ProTrac suspension kit with a Savox 1258tg servo. I will be running either 2.8 Mashers on Desperado wheels or 1/8 buggy Wheels like your truck, whatever I’m in the mood for on that specific day.

What size pinion gear did you use with the buggy wheels? What size pinion would you recommend for the 2.8 Mashers? I’ll be using a 54T spur. Thanks again for such a great article.
