OVERVIEW

Kyosho has beautifully reproduced the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in 1/10-scale, pairing this American muscle icon with their refined Fazer series chassis. This latest iteration of Kyosho’s touring car platform has undergone a complete makeover, evolving performance through a simplified design that utilizes fewer parts to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce overall weight. Despite the lighter footprint, core strength and rigidity have been significantly increased through the use of new materials and strategic ribbing on the front and rear of the vehicle. The symmetrical chassis design further enhances the driving experience, synergizing excellent front-rear balance with responsive control across various power sources.

The drivetrain is built for durability and high impact resistance, featuring a slipper clutch, front and rear gear differentials, and oil-filled shocks to help drivers unleash the full potential of the car. The inclusion of full ball bearing specs ensures smooth operation and longevity for the internal components.

For those who enjoy customizing their ride, the kit includes brake disc wheel hubs with two different offsets to provide compatibility with both 190mm and 200mm width body styles. Additionally, the wheelbase can be adjusted to 260mm by replacing a few parts, allowing for easy compatibility with other 1/10-scale bodies. This Readyset package comes fully assembled from the factory, requiring only a charger, a chassis battery, and transmitter batteries to get it on the road.
