Sparked by the ProTek RC 2S 130C 4800mAh Shorty Battery Pack, Rivkin won A2 and finished second in A1 and A3 to take the overall win with his Team Associated B74.1 on a JConcepts tire combination of Fuzz Bites in the front and Nessi Carpet 2.2s in the rear.

Lutz guided his Kyosho Inferno MP10 on AKA tires to the victory in the 25-minute A main at the North East Showdown, grabbing the lead for good on lap 35 of the 43-lap final.

Bornhorst piloted his Sworkz vehicles on JConcepts tires to win in both featured electric classes behind ProTek RC battery power. He took the top spot in Expert eBuggy over Lutz, who was TQ and eventual second place finisher in the 10-minute A main. Bornhorst went with the ProTek RC 4S 130C 6400mAh Shorty Battery Pack to provide the power in the challenging conditions dealt (impending thunderstorms) in the Expert Electric Buggy victory, and he opted for the ProTek RC 4S 120C 6500mAh pack to take the win in the 10-minute Electric Truck A main.
