Features
Body
The Quake’s pickup-style Lexan body sets it apart with unique rock-textured molded panels at the front and rear for both looks and durability. These molded pieces double as part of the body mount system, adding structure to prevent
collapse during hard tumbles. A matte and gloss finish mix, sharp decals (including the driver’s name “Rick T. Scale”), and three available color schemes give it visual punch. Underneath, a rear bed brace adds even more rigidity — a thoughtful touch that helps prevent common Lexan cracking in this area.
Chassis
Borrowed from the proven Gorgon, the monocoque chassis integrates bulkheads and the transmission for fewer parts and impressive rigidity. A bottom-loading battery door makes pack swaps quick and easy, and the c
omposite shock towers stand tall for durability. While the one-piece chassis design means a major break could require replacing the whole unit, history shows this setup can take plenty of abuse.
Suspension
The Quake uses Gorgon-grade heavy-duty composite suspension arms, caster blocks, and steering knuckles with large outer bearings. Both front and rear bumpers pop in bright green for visibility and style. The fixed-link rear suspension is rugged and paired with large-bore, oil-filled shocks featuring shaft protectors to keep dirt out and extend seal life.
Drivetrain
A rear-wheel drive setup feeds massive power through a slipper clutch and full ball bearings. Inside, a large metal-gear differential handles the torque, while slider driveshafts push power to chevron-inspired monster truck tires broken into individual lugs for added bite. Bright green wheels complete the aggressive stance.
Electronics
At the heart is Arrma’s new 223S brushless system — a 4000KV motor paired with a fan-cooled 2-in-1 ESC/receiver unit. The ESC is ready for 2S or 3S LiPo power, and a large motor-mounted cooling fan ensures temps stay under control
during high-speed runs. A Spektrum SLT2 transmitter provides DSC stability control, adjustable throttle limits, and a color-coded identification decal so you always know which model it belongs to.
Performance
On 3S, the Arrma Quake is an absolute rocket — easily hitting the claimed 50+ mph in testing, with wheelies on command and backflip potential off modest jumps. However, all that torque means the front end stays light, making precision driving a challenge. On 2S, the Quake transforms into a more balanced, controllable basher, still capable of 39 mph but with smoother steering, manageable throttle response, and excellent jump handling.
Off-road, the lugged tires dig into dirt and sand with authority, while the DSC system helps keep the Quake tracking well in sketchy terrain. Jump landings on fluffy terrain can bounce the truck, but the shocks soak up typical bashing hits well. Whether it’s ripping wheelies, climbing hills, or blasting across open fields, the Quake’s brushless power and rugged design make it a blast to drive.

Wrap-Up
The Arrma Quake 2WD Brushless Monster Truck takes everything drivers loved about the Gorgon and dials it up with serious brushless speed, aggressive styling, and thoughtful durability upgrades. It’s a capable basher for newcomers running on 2S and an adrenaline machine for experienced drivers ready to wrangle its 3S fury.
