Easy Monster Truck Transformations With Pro-Line Gear — Arrma Granite

Starting off with the mighty Arrma Granite, we wanted to retain its monster truck appearance. We choose the tough-looking and realistic, officially licensed Jeep Gladiator Rubicon clear body. It also offers a perfect fit onto the Granite chassis. The iconic and unmistakable Jeep styling makes a statement and the Granite will be ready for nearly any adventure you can send it into. Pro-Line has included all the scale Jeep Gladiator detail you would expect into the body and a sticker sheet that will completely transform the look of your truck. This body comes in one-piece and a simple one color paint scheme can do this body justice. Getting it completed is a cinch thanks to the window masks and overspray film that Pro-Line includes.

Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Clear Body—#PRO357500

With the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon body selected and off-road adventure being the direction we are going with this monster truck transformation, we picked the Pro-Line Overland Scale Roof Rack to top the roof of the Gladiator body. The Overland Roof Rack is made from durable Black Nylon and is a two-piece tubular roof rack design that is perfect for adding scale accessories and scale detail to your rig. The included hemispherical roof rack mounts allow the Overland to be mounted on body and cage surfaces that are not completely flat for easy installation. The Overland Roof Rack measures 4.5”x4.5”x1” and features many cutouts covering the bottom that will allow scale straps and ties to be used anywhere you want to strap down any of your favorite scale accessories.

The perfect complement to the Overland Scale Roof Rack is the Pro-Line 4″ Super-Bright LED Light Bar Kit 6V-12V (#PRO627601). This is not just a scale accessory but this light bar is fully functional with 20 working LED lights. You can custom mount it on virtually any vehicle and this was also designed to mount directly to the Overland Scale Roof Rack for an integrated scale appearance. The rack combined with the light bar and mounted on the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is one awesome combo.

ECX RUCKUS

We went old school for the ECX Ruckus and chose the classic Pro-Line Early 50’s Chevy Tough-Color gray body. Its retro good looks are hard to resist and makes for a nice change over the stock ECX body. Pro-Line nicely designed this body with step-sides and huge fender flares that will bring you back to the good old days. In the package you will find a decal sheet for the headlights, taillights, windows and detailed front grill.

Now the main benefit to this body is the speed to which you can transform the look of your stock Ruckus or any 1/10-scale truck for that matter. This Early 50’s Chevy body is one of the innovative products that Pro-Line has created and has the Tough-Color moniker attached to it so that you know it is a special body. It is made from polycarbonate that starts off gray, so you never have to worry about paint peeling or chipping off. The advantage here is that all you have to do is trim out the body, add body post holes and apply the included stickers. Your ECX Ruckus will look entirely different and it will only take you about 30 minutes to get it done.

Although the Pro-Line No Prep Drag Racing Optional Hood Scoops and Blowers are intended for the no-prep drag scene, we found them to work great on other styles of vehicles as well. They will definitely work on a monster truck so that you can customize its appearance even more. This variety pack comes molded in clear polycarbonate so that you can paint it to match your truck. You have the option of going with a two-piece scale intake and blower (which would look killer on the Early 50’s Chevy body) and there is the Pro Stock and Pro Mod style hood scoops and cowls to choose from. Plus Pro-Line incorporated scale Naca ducts that can be placed anywhere on the body to make it look more scale.

TRAXXAS STAMPEDE 4X4

A monster truck with 4WD makes a super-fun vehicle for blasting through sand and the Traxxas Stampede 4X4 is an ideal example. Obviously the key component are the tires and Pro-Line makes one purpose-built just for the sand…the Pro-Line Sand Paw 2.8” mounted tires. The big paddles fixed around the circumference of the tires will dig into the sand and shoot a massive roost of sand as the truck chargers forward. Getting them installed onto the Stampede 4X4 is a breeze since they already come pre-mounted on Pro-Line Raid 2.8” Removable Hex Wheel.

Each Sand Paw 2.8” tire comes factory glued onto a Pro-Line Raid 2.8” Removable Hex Wheel. Two sets of the most popular offset hexes are included. This makes it easy to change the offset of your wheel to work for different applications. This also makes it possible to replace a damaged hex instead of needing to toss the entire glued tire. In the appearance department, Pro-Line did a nice job in creating the detailed 10-spoke design complete with a beadloc-style outer ring for a realistic looking final product. High-strength, durable DuPont Nylon material is used to mold the Raid wheels so you know they can stand up to hours of sand throwing fun.

The 2021 Ford Bronco body is one of the newer MT bodies from the crew at Pro-Line and its scale looks is a nice departure of the stock Traxxas Stampede body. The Bronco is a legendary name in the truck world and its unmistakable retro-modern styling with off-road prowess is perfect for out Stampede converted to a sand rail. Pro-Line gave this body plenty of detail included a detail sticker sheet so that you can create a mean looking off-road vehicle. The one-piece Bronco body comes clear with window masks and paint-then-peel overspray film.
