Hot Bodies has announced the release (or re-release) of it’s 1/8 scale onroad car, the R8. This car is riddled with high-end features that allowed HB Team Driver Teemu Leino to put the prototype 7th overall at the 2013-2014 World Championships in Japan. HB is finalizing the vehicle prior to release and, in my opinion, this should spark some definite interest in this class.

Here are some of the features coming standard on the R8:

• Precision machined alloy parts: suspension mounts, engine mount, layshaft mounts and more
• Split bulkheads allow for quick and easy drive belt change & drive belt tension adjustments

• Centralized lower weight distribution provides superb balance with increased transitional agility
• Lay down throttle/brake servo for extremely low center of gravity

• Centrifugal clutch components provide excellent throttle response
