Traxxas Slash RC Drag Car Project Part 4

Our first ground up build (Gasser) drag car has been an interesting experience. We’ve spent a lot of time wheeling so many different cars, but we’ve never paid much attention to drag racing. This growing segment in RC really caught our interest and so we set off to build our own car based off the a Traxxas Blasphemi build we found on the Traxxas website. The base of the build is a Traxxas Slash and it’s become a popular platform for many projects. This build has taken us a while and we encountered many setbacks when trying to run it. Mostly weather and conflicting filming schedules. But were were able to get some action in right at the start of winter. Not the most optimal time for a drag run, but we did get to run it. So what were the results of our Gasser style project? Did this car go fast? What did we learn from our experience? Should you build one? It’s all in the video.
