The TrackStar TS3t is a stylish looking, red, black and silver colored pistol grip 2.4GHz radio system designed for surface operations. Turnigy's marketing department defines the TS3t moniker as follows: “TS” for TrackStar, “3” for three channels of control and “t” for telemetry.

When I got into this hobby many years ago Serpent only made 1/8- scale nitro on-road RCs. From what I remember these were the fastest, most precisely tuned RCs out there and Serpent was considered the best. Just a few years ago they made the jump into the 1/8-scale nitro off-road market.

Let’s face it, if you’re going to drop a large wad of cash for a high end radio system, you’d better make certain it is protected at all times when not in use. I’ve seen so many radios knocked off a pit bench or solvents sprayed on them or things dropped on them it makes me cringe. All could have been easily prevented if the radio was just stored in a case.

The Dot Boxes are a neat way... literally to store all those little screws, nuts, washers, body clips, diff balls, you name it, into a tidy box system.

It's incredible how quickly 2WD buggies are evolving and the directions they are going. When 2WD buggies surged back into the RC scene they were rear motor mounted as they had been for years, but now mid motor has become standard for high bite indoor racing
