Team C TM4 Build – Main Chassis

Team C TM4 Build – Main Chassis

The Build – Part 1
The chassis of the Team C TM4 features an aluminum plate with plastic sides. These help keep the chassis from flexing and also provide a flat surface for the body to stay against. It’s a pretty easy 3-step process.

Attach the side rails to the main chassis.

Attach the center support. It’s called a center support but it’s more of a battery stay to keep the battery from moving. Note the direction it’s facing.

Attach the pair of center bulkheads. There is a groove on the inside of each bearing support; make sure both grooves are facing each other.

Pretty easy start. On to the differentials.
