If your clutch bell is slipping it usually means it is time for new clutch shoes. While you have it apart to replace the shoes, take a few minutes to inspect the inside of the bell. It can become glazed over from the shoes wearing down, which can contribute to the slipping. Use fine steel wool to remove the heavy stuff and then hit it with some very fine wet or dry sandpaper. Clean it well with nitro spray once you’ve got it clean.
