Just announced are the RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plates for the Arrma Kraton 6S Vehicles. These are two new items released by RPM: Front Bumper and Skid Plate as well as a Rear Skid Plate.
Front Bumper and Skid Plate for the ARRMA Kraton 6S (V5, EXB & older models)—#81812
The RPM Front Bumper and Skid Plate for the ARRMA Kraton 6S has been updated to work with all current versions, from the V5 and EXB editions as well as older models. The differential clearance area has been widened for the larger differential hump found on the V5. Additionally, RPM is now including a hinge pin retainer plate so no additional parts are necessary to run their front bumper.
Just like on previous versions, the RPM Kraton 6S Front Bumper is structurally engineered to add much needed impact-absorption to the front of the Kraton. The RPM front bumper dramatically reduces transferred impact forces to the chassis. Additionally, the two-piece design incorporates a 4mm thick skid plate with 1.5mm skid ribs, extending more than 1-1/2” (38mm) in front of the chassis and protects the front of that expensive aluminum chassis from skid and impact damage. RPM then bolt a huge, 3/8” x 1/2″ x 6-3/4” (9.5mm x 12.7mm x 171.5mm) curved oval bumper on top to help protect the body as well.

Rear Skid Plate for most ARRMA 6S vehicles—#81332
One of the highest dollar replacement items on any vehicle is the chassis, especially when that chassis is a 3 – 4mm thick aluminum plate. On ARRMA 6S vehicles, there’s absolutely no protection for the underside of the chassis. Rocks, roots, asphalt, etc, can all create nasty scabs, scrapes and dents that will eventually lead to the need for a replacement.
Help reduce skid and scrape damage by installing an RPM Rear Skid Plate to your favorite ride. The areas most prone to damage are at the extreme ends of the chassis and the RPM Rear Skid Plate protects the rear end with 4mm of RPM engineering grade nylons that is not only extremely tough and durable, it also slides up and over obstacles much easier than aluminum. The leading edge of the skid plate has been rolled to a thin edge to reduce the likelihood of it catching while the rear is a full 4mm thick for a long-lasting skid plate built to handle some serious punishment.
