When I started racing radio control cars, my first race was with my Tamiya Falcom in the parking lot of a hobby shop. It was the first time I had actually run my first RC car, prior to that I had driven a friend’s car in his driveway for about a minute. At the track, I ran practice and then my father bought some on-road tires, which we fitted to the Falcon.

Tamiya is great for designing all sorts of interesting RC vehicles and keeping every format of our hobby fresh and interesting. The DT03 chassis is more geared for beginners in stock form, the cost is many design cues had durability in mind over all out performance.

I have a Spektrum DX4C in my oval car. The problem is when I power it up, the servo makes a lot of noise and does not respond. I have put different servos in it, even brand new ones and have the same problem.

Are you guys going to cover the NR/CTPA Worlds again? I would buy a subscription if I knew there was going to be an article every year! I love reading about this even and seeing all the pictures. I think many others would as well. Thanks!

I’ve always been a fan of smaller vehicles. They tend to cost less than larger vehicles, have a tendency to to be a great value, are often loaded with performance features found in much more expensive vehicles, and can be easily hopped up and customized. The Mini 8IGHT-T Truggy from Losi is one of those vehicles that really fits this bill

Hi Tony. In the January 2014 issue you had a How To article about setting Ackermann. I currently own a Team Associated Factory Team B4.1, a Duratrax Axis and an HPI Sprint 2 Drift. While I have always had the opportunity to adjust the Ackermann of these vehicles, I always thought it was just for the “Pro” drivers and it wouldn’t provide a noticeable effect for me, the basher/weekend racer.
