Helion Brushless Dominus 10SC V2

Helion Dominus 10SCV2
Check out the aggressive stance on the new Brushless Dominus 10SCV2; this truck means business!
We’ve known about the Helion Dominus 10SCV2 for quite some time now but were asked to keep it under wraps until the official release date and that day is here. So here is the scoop. Helion is obviously looking to provide an awesome off-road experience. To do that they took their Dominus and Invictus and melded them into a cool 4WD 1/10 brushless truck with short course flare.

The Dominus 10SC V2 features a high-clearance chassis and drive system like that of the Invictus MT. The chassis is fitted with a 2.4GHz 3-channel radio system and a 3500Kv Reaktor brushless motor to pump out blistering acceleration and incredible top speeds in excess of 30 mph. The beefy shaft-based all-metal gear transmission rides on a full set of ball bearings and can handle the stock power and upgrades if you crave more speed. Constructed from lightweight yet strong material, the fully independent suspension and oil-filled shocks were lifted from the successful original Dominus platform. A 3000mAh 7-cell NiMH battery pack with High Current T-Plug comes stock with the truck, as well as a LiPo-compatible waterproof 35A programmable electronic speed controller. A waterproof 6kg servo handles steering response while the high-grip, long-wear tires hook up on a multitude of surfaces. Also included in this RTR kit is a 1 Amp A/C wall charger, which we think is great for the beginner, but you might want to pick up one of Radient’s awesome charger offerings while you’re picking up this new truck. RC Driver is already at work on this truck’s review and we have to say we’re continually impressed with Helion’s offerings. You don’t want to miss the Dominus 10SC V2!

  1. I just got one last Saturday as a birthday present. This truck has been nothing but absolutely fun to drive. I had to modify the battery tray to accommodate a lipo pack since the tray was designed for the included 2s nimh hump pack.

Other than that, I have been enjoying this truck Way to go Helion.
